My unique talents or hobbies: Golf, sporting clays, archery, fly-fishing and ice hockey.

Among the leadership positions I have held: Leadership Council and captain of golf team.

Among my special achievements and awards: National Honor Society, student of the month, Heartland Athletic Conference all-star in golf.

How I have given back to the community: Helped with stream restoration project and worked with youth at Shade Mountain Golf Clinic.

My plans upon graduation: Attend college for engineering.

Why I was selected as a Young American: I have a strong work ethic and have a positive attitude toward learning.

What you should know about me: Competed in the U.S. Open Sporting Clay Competition.
