Midd-West High School Students of the Month for February

— MIDDLEBURG -- The Midd-West High School Students of the Month for February have been announced.

Jordan Reade, eighth grade, is the daughter of Brian and Crystal Reade, of Middleburg. While in school Jordan participates in field hockey, board game club and the field hockey club. Some of her hobbies include reading and playing the drums and studying her Bible. Jordan is planning on attending college but undecided about what field to study.

Sierra Zeigler, ninth grade, is the daughter of Jeremy and Amy Zeigler, of Middleburg. Her school activities include Art Club, Mustang Wear, Spanish and Bible Study. Some of her hobbies include youth group, painting and sketching. Her future plans include attending Messiah College to double major in art and christian ministries. She would like to become a missionary eventually an art teacher and also a youth minister.

Cassie Oldt, 10th grade, is the daughter of Jason and Heidy Oldt, of McClure. In school Cassie enjoys participating in field hockey, basketball, treasurer of student council, and a member of the National Honor Society. Her hobbies include playing field hockey, basketball and hanging out with friends and family. Cassie is planning to attend college to pursue a career in medicine.

Jacob Jones, 11th grade, is the son of Jerold and Colleen Jones, of Middleburg. He is involved in stage crew, RAT Pack and enjoys helping out at sporting events. Some of Jacob’s hobbies include playing Wii, sled riding and attending sports events. He is planning on attending SUN Tech next year in the food service program and working in a restaurant.

Travis Smith, 12th grade, is the son of Mike and Michelle Smith, of Middleburg. Travis’ hobbies include hunting, fishing, trapping and being in the outdoors. His future plans include working with the family cabinet business, Smith’s Custom Woodworking.
