SELINSGROVE — Both lanes of traffic on the Route 522 bridge over Penns Creek in Selinsgrove will reopen to traffic Aug. 30 after months of reconstruction work.
The reopening of the northbound lane will put an end to the detour caused by the $1.9 million project.
However, there will be some traffic restrictions until mid-October while contractors complete the project doing demolition and sidewalk replacements.
When the two lanes are reopened, there will be a temporary 10 foot-width restriction for vehicles and northbound traffic will not be allowed to turn left onto Airport Road during this time.
A short detour on Routes 11-15 to Susquehanna Mall Drive - the loop at Sheetz - will direct northbound traffic to southbound Routes 11-15 back to Airport Road.
