Midd-West High School Students of the Month for April

Janelle Blank, eighth grade, is the daughter of J. Kenneth and JoAnn Blank, of Middleburg. Some of her school activities include FFA, band, choir, marching band, performing arts and participating in the talent show. Outside school her hobbies are farming, 4-H, showing at the Beaver Fair, performing for Relay for Life and talking to her grandfather in PA Dutch. Her future plans include attending Pennsylvania State University and majoring in veterinary and biomedical sciences and minor in performing arts.      

Reilly Spriggle, ninth grade, is the daughter of Michael and Terry Spriggle, of Mount Pleasant Mills. While in school she enjoys soccer, basketball, lacrosse, chorus and yearbook. She enjoys hanging out with friends, being outdoors, playing sports and going shopping in her free time. She is planning on attending college to major in the medical field.

Courtney Catlin, 10th grade, is the daughter of Steve and Cathy Catlin, of Middleburg. Courtney in involved with student council, sophomore class treasurer, National Honor Society and a member of the bowling team while at school. Some of her hobbies include bowling, youth group, camping, and spending time with friends and family. Courtney is planning on attending college to major in accounting.  

Rachel Elliott, 11th grade, is the daughter of Stephen and Johanna Elliott, of Beaver Springs. While at school, Rachel is active in FFA, soccer, track and field, National Honor Society, Ski Club and Health Careers Club. Some of her hobbies include 4-H, riding horses, reading, camping and working with animals. Rachel is planning on attending college and becoming a veterinarian.   

Kemah Armes, 12th grade, is the son of Mike and Lori Foor, of Beavertown. While at school, Kemah is involved in the work study program and very actively involved in the plays and musicals. Some of his hobbies include reading, and making and enjoying music.  His future plans include attending college for acting and becoming an actor.
