HUMMELS WHARF — Texas Roadhouse could soon be serving up steak and fries at the site of the former Ruby Tuesday which has been vacant for six years following a string of fires.
Sketch plans will be unveiled to the Monroe Township Planning Commission Monday at 7 p.m. Monday.
Texas Roadhouse, a Louisville, Kentucky-based steakhouse, is known for offering patrons a free bucket of peanuts on each table. The restaurant chain operates more than 300 franchises in 46 states.
Preliminary plans are to tear down the existing Ruby Tuesday building, located on a 2.7 acre lot off Route 11-15, which has been empty since April 2007 following four separate fires within weeks of each other.
