PORT TREVORTON — Keller Marine & RV was back in business Monday morning, assuring customers that Friday’s fire may have destroyed a large portion of a warehouse and office area but not the company’s spirit or livelihood of its 75 employees.
“We’re very blessed,” said Lori Morrow, co-owner with her brother, G. Michael Keller, of the 55-year-old boat and recreational accessories business founded by their parents, George and Margaret Keller.
A six-alarm fire sparked Friday morning while a crew was repairing the roof of the warehouse at 2712 Main St. burned up millions of dollars in inventory and brought out volunteer fire crews from Snyder, Northumberland, Union and Perry counties.
“Everybody walked out of that burning building. God has been very good and we have so much to be thankful for,” said Morrow, expressing gratitude to the firefighters and community and church members who have supplied food, prayer and free labor.
