Susquehanna Welcomes Home Alumni

— SELINSGROVE — Traditions hold special importance at Susquehanna University, particularly Homecoming-Reunion Weekend when hundreds of alumni return to campus to reminisce, reconnect and make new memories. This year’s homecoming is scheduled for Oct. 18-20.

The theme for the weekend, “Susquehanna Through the Ages,” gives a nod to the university’s yearlong theme, “Technology in Our Lives,” and the new Susquehanna Traditions program. Alumni, students, and their families will participate in events celebrating the proud customs that connect generations of graduates to each other and Susquehanna for a lifetime.

The university expects about 1,000 people to return to Susquehanna for the weekend, including alumni from classes marking milestone anniversaries. In addition to class reunions, participants can take in a variety of sporting events, attend the Kids’ Carnival, Homecoming Parade and a dance party, and enjoy other social events on campus and at local businesses.
