SUNBURY — A Mifflinburg man has been sentenced to 11 to 23 months in the county jail and will be a lifetime Megan’s Law offender after pleading guilty in Northumberland County Court to corruption of minors.
Christerfer Wilson, 23, was sentenced Monday by Judge William Wiest after Wilson pleaded guilty to allegations that he sent a teenage girl text messages showing photos of his genitals, touched the girl’s breasts and placed her hands down his pants.
Wilson told police the teen asked to kiss him. He agreed, and they continued to kiss while he put his hands up her shirt and touched her breasts, officers said. The girl slid her hands down his pants and fondled him for about 15 seconds, court documents said.
The girl then stopped, police said. Wilson asked her what was wrong, according to court documents.
She said she didn’t feel right about what they were doing, and the pair stopped, police said.
The victim was interviewed by Northumberland County Children and Youth and told caseworkers she knew Wilson for about a year, court documents said.
Wilson sent her text messages showing photos of his private parts, the girl told police, and he told her the only reason they were not dating was her age, according to court documents.
Wilson starting sleeping at her mother’s house, the girl told police, on a sofa in the living room.
On one occasion, Wilson and the girl were playing a video game when Wilson put his hand inside her shirt and took the teen’s hand and placed it down his pants, court documents said.
The incident stopped after Wilson attempted to unbutton her pants, police said.
Wilson pleaded guilty to unlawful contact with a minor, one count of corruption of minors, two counts of indecent assault and one count of obscene and other sexual materials.
Wilson will have to register under Megan’s Law for the rest of his life.
Northumberland County District Attorney Ann Targonski prosecuted the case.
