Sunbury Residents Encouraged to Attend Community Meeting for WVIA’s “Our Town Sunbury” Documentary – Volunteers Needed

— PITTSTON — WVIA invites all Sunbury residents to the final community meeting for the “Our Town Sunbury” documentary this at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 16 at the Degenstein Library located at 40 S. Fifth St. in Sunbury.

At this meeting, residents from the Sunbury area will discuss which landmarks, events and local stories the program should explore. WVIA will answer questions about the project during the meeting and ask the volunteer videographers and/or storytellers to narrow the list of subjects and events to videotape. WVIA hopes to recruit 20 to 25 area residents with personal camcorders.

“Our Town Sunbury” will debut in April on WVIA-TV.
