Seeking Musically Talented Youth & Young Adults for Father's Hope Fundraiser Concert

— WATSONTOWN — A local organization is seeking musically talented youth and young adults to take part in its biggest fundraiser of the year.

Father’s Hope, a Milton-based international orphan outreach, is accepting the names of individuals in their youth through 20s interested in performing Christian songs in the Father’s Hope fundraiser concert.

The concert is slated for 6:30 p.m.  April 26, at Revival Tabernacle, 960 Susquehanna Trail, Watsontown.

The concert will be free to attend and free to participants. A free-will offering will be accepted to support the mission of Father’s Hope, primarily to ship small stuffed animals to orphanages around the world. In 2013, the concert raised over $2,000 for Father’s Hope.

Donations of small stuffed animals will also be accepted at the concert.

Father’s Hope has several locations set up throughout the community where donations of small stuffed animals can be dropped off throughout the year. Those locations include: Revival Tabernacle; Keystone Power Washers Auto Detailing Center, located at the intersection of Routes 405 and 45 near Montandon; The UPS Store, 185 AJK Blvd., Lewisburg; The Milton Public Library, 541 Broadway, Milton; and the Montgomery House Warrior Run Area Public Library, 20 Church St., McEwensville.

Since it was founded in 2012, Father’s Hope has touched the lives of over 6,000 orphans in six countries by shipping or personally delivering items including small stuffed animals and hand-made cards created by local youth to orphanages.

Community organizations, churches, youth groups and organizations, schools and other entities in Central Pennsylvania are welcome to become involved with Father’s Hope’s efforts.
