Bobby Dallious won his singles match in straight sets, and the Shikellamy doubles teams swept for the program’s first match win in several seasons.
All three Braves singles players had hard-fought matches, with Noah Stahl going to a first-set tiebreak at No. 1 and Jacob Stuck extending his match three sets.
“The first two singles were very close,” said Braves coach Mindy Hoffman. “All the boys played well.
“It was exciting for everyone,” Hoffman continued. “The kids were very proud, as well they should be.”
Shikellamy (1-1) plays Tuesday at Selinsgrove.
