Army National Guard Pvt. Aaron M. Brown has graduated from basic infantry training at Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga.
During the nine weeks of training, the soldier received training in drill and ceremonies, weapons, map reading, tactics, military courtesy, military justice, physical fitness, first aid, and Army history, core values and traditions. Additional training included development of basic combat skills and battlefield operations and tactics, and experiencing use of various weapons and weapons defenses available to the infantry crewman.
Brown is the son of David and Crystal Brown, of Sunbury.
He is a 2011 graduate of Shikellamy High School.
Army Pvt. Georgi-Iileen P. Brookhart has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C.
During the nine weeks of training, the soldier studied the Army mission, history, tradition and core values, physical fitness, and received instruction and practice in basic combat skills, military weapons, chemical warfare and bayonet training, drill and ceremony, marching, rifle marksmanship, armed and unarmed combat, map reading, field tactics, military courtesy, military justice system, basic first aid, foot marches, and field training exercises.
Brookhart is the daughter of Billie-Jo Comer and granddaughter of Georgann Comer, both of Liverpool.
She is a 2012 graduate of Greenwood High School.
Air Force Airman Ryan A. Kosmisky graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.
The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.
Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
Kosmisky is the son of Carol Brady, of Nags Head, N.C., and George Kosmisky, of Shamokin, Pa.
He is a 2011 graduate of Mantec High School, N.C.
