New Certified Welding Inspector D1.1 Seminar

— NEW BERLIN — SUN Area Technical Institute in conjunction with Welder Training and Testing Institute will be offering the American Welding Society’s Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) and Certified Welding Educator (CWE) classes in New Berlin. The seminar is designed for the welding professional to assist them when they take the American Welding Society’s exam that is scheduled for June 21 at the Welder Training and Testing Institute.

Classes will be held from June 16 through 20. They will start at 8 a.m. and end at 4:30 p.m.

To qualify as a Certified Welding Inspector, you must pass a vision test and have a combination of qualifying education and work experience, with supporting documentation. To qualify as a Certified Welding Educator, you must also be a certified welder.

Registrations are now being taken for the Certified Welding Inspector D1.1 Seminar at SUN Area Technical Institute. The deadline for registering is May 5. For the qualifications, forms and more information, visit SUN Tech’s website at www.sun-tech.org/CWI.
