Kaitlyn M. Bohannon, daughter of David and Tammy Bohannon, was named Outstanding Senior at Warrior Run High School for May.
She is a member of Defender Pride Club, student council, and Spanish Club, and is vice president of National Honor Society. She participates in marching and concert band, concert choir, cheerleading, and track and field — pole vault.
Outside of school she is active with 4-H, Fort Freeland Heritage Days, is a Poetry Out Loud participant, and is a Warrior Run Elementary School wrestling volunteer and coach.
Her awards and achievements include Academic All-Star, Defender PRIDE Award, and Carolyn G. Fischer Citizenship Award.
She will attend Slippery Rock University.
Karia L. Bausingenr, daughter of William and Tammy Bausinger, was named Turbotville Lions Club Student of the Month for May.
She is a member of French Club, National Honor Society, jazz band, Drama Club, and student council.
Outside of school she is active with the church softball team and volunteers for the Turbotville Lions Club, especially the food stand at the Lycoming Fair. She has been named to the honor roll.
She is employed by the Turbortville Great Valu.
Bausinger will attend Bloomsburg University majoring in medical imaging.
Jared K. McHenry, son of James and Jaime McHenry, was named Watsontown Lions Club Student of the Month for May.
He is a member of the Rototics Club and participates in track and field — pole vault, and concert choir.
Outside of school he enjoys working on vehicles and fishing.
This year, he broke the school/stadium record in pole vaulting.
He is employed by Bucknell Catering.
McHenry’s future plans are undecided.
