— The Daily Item and Omega Bank are sponsoring the Stock Market Game competition.

The Program:

-- Local Stock Market Game Competition
-- High School Division
-- Middle School Division

-- One Stock Market Game team free for each High School and Middle School

-- T-shirts, prizes....

-- List top SIX teams will be listed in the newspaper each week during the game

-- Free training provided to teachers

Important Dates:

-- Newspaper coverage begins in January

-- Free Teacher Game: 1/14/08 - 2/01/08

-- Spring Game: 2/11/08 - 4/18/08

-- Free Teacher Training: January 16 at the CSIU in Montandon

-- Recognition Luncheon on May 14th

Schools and Teams:

-- One team of 3-4 students in 9-12 grade for each school
-- One team of 3-4 students in 7-8 grade for each school
