Shikellamy principal resigns following DUI charge

— SUNBURY — The resignation of an Oaklyn Elementary principal arrested May 30 on charges she was driving with a blood-alcohol level approaching lethal levels was accepted during a 15-minute special session of the Shikellamy school board Thursday night.

Holly Ann Judge’s resignation from her $93,244 position was unanimously approved 9-0 without any comments.

Judge, 36, is facing drunken driving and related charges after she was pulled over by a state trooper and reported to have a blood-alcohol content of 0.332, four times over the legal limit. A driver is considered legally intoxicated in Pennsylvania with a blood-alcohol level of 0.08 percent.

At the conclusion of the meeting the board went into executive session.

Judge had been principal of Oaklyn Elementary School since 2011.
