HERNDON — The Sunbury man injured Friday when the dump truck he was riding in ran off the road and crashed into a garage has been discharged from the hospital.
A nursing supervisor at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, said Michael Brunetto, 28, was discharged Saturday after being taken there by LifeFlight helicopter Friday.
Brunetto was already on his way to the hospital after being cut by a chain saw while trimming trees when the driver of the truck he was riding in lost control of the vehicle, crashing it into a garage and then a utility pole.
Passenger Michael Wilt, 20, of Sunbury, was taken by ambulance to an unknown hospital for treatment of injuries.
Driver Jesse Stahl, 19, of Sunbury, who was not wearing a seat belt, was not injured.
Police said charges are pending against Stahl.
