The performances will be on August 17th at Lincoln Park in Milton, August 18th at St. Marks Church in Williamsport, and August 19th at Hufnagel Park in Lewisburg. All performances will be at 7:00 p.m.

Gaspipe Theatre Company will be holding open auditions for Shakespeare in the Park in preparation of a milestone in the history of the troupe.

This show will mark the company’s 20th consecutive year of bringing Shakespeare’s work to life. According to the company’s founder, the group intends to make the experience a memorable event.

“This year we will be performing some of the seminal scenes and monologues from the mind of the great William Shakespeare — great scenes that we would not normally perform for the public and we are also reaching out to actors and actresses from past shows to perform,” said Derek Scott. “We plan on making the production one to absolutely remember. We are calling it: Shakespearience! We do this as a gift of thanks for all of the support and love we have received and continue to receive throughout the area.”

Auditions will be held on Thursday, Monday and Tuesday at 6 p.m. at Hufnagle Park in Lewisburg. Rain location will be at the former Lewisburg high school building.
