Carl L. Pardoe has been appointed a director of the West Milton State Bank Board of Directors.

Pardoe and his wife, Gina, reside in Montandon, where he has been a life-long resident. He is a graduate of Milton High School and attended Keystone College in La Plume, Pa. Pardoe is president of Pardoe's Perky Peanuts, Inc. He also formed Pardoe Rental and is involved in land purchase and development. In his spare time, Pardoe enjoys spending time with his family, hunting, sports and outdoor recreation.

Steve Everitt of Mifflinburg recently joined the staff of Lawton Insurance Agency as an agent. He is responsible for writing new personal and commercial lines business.

Everitt most recently served as general manager at Brookpark Golf. He earned an associates degree in business management from Central Pennsylvania College.

Sara Rudon, of Middleburg, was promoted to salon and store manager of Supercuts, located in Monroe Marketplace, Hummels Wharf, on June 20.

In addition, Emily Weller, also of Middleburg, was promoted to shift manager.

"We are delighted and honored to have Sara assume the responsibilities of this key position at our salon, and this is in recognition of her accomplishments and excellent performance as a stylist and assistant manager," said Helga Savidge, general manager and owner.

Supercuts opened its doors on Jan. 13, 2010, and recently celebrated serving their 5,000th customer. All team members have completed and passed an extensive and unique training program called Hair Stylist Academy.
