HUNTINGDON, Pa. (AP) — A central Pennsylvania man will spend 10 to 20 years in prison for molesting a 12-year-old relative, in part, because the man’s brother, an FBI agent, asked for a long prison sentence.

Special Agent James Kyle says his brother, 61-year-old William Nelson Kyle, is a “cockroach” who will abuse other children if he ever gets out of prison.

A Huntingdon County judge has heeded the agent’s concerns in sentencing William Kyle on Tuesday on one count of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse. Prosecutors dropped other charges in exchange for the plea because they expect Kyle will die in prison because he’s in poor health.

William Kyle has 16 children. He is a Vietnam veteran who has sought treatment for related mental health issues.
