PENNS CREEK — Kevin T. Underhill, 54, of Penns Creek, passed away Monday evening, Nov. 26, 2007, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

He was born March 29, 1953, in Dover, N.J., a son of Robert J. and Helen M. (Ward) Underhill, of Middleburg. On Aug. 22, 1987, he married the former Karen A. Hummel, who survives.

Mr. Underhill was a graduate of Morristown, N.J., High School.

He served in the Army from 1972 to 1974.

Earlier in life, Mr. Underhill worked for Morris Township, N.J., for 10 years. Later, he was a truck driver for Allied Van Lines and Reliable Van and Storage.

He was Catholic.

Mr. Underhill was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary 3401, Morris Plains, N.J., and a former member of the New Berlin American Legion.

He enjoyed collecting guns and loved his dogs, especially his rottweiler, Lady.

Surviving, in addition to his wife and parents, are three daughters, Robin Sheesley, of Beaver Springs, Kimberly Underhill, of Penns Creek, and Diane Harry, of McClure; one son, Kevin Underhill Jr., of Penns Creek; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one sister, Karen Underhill, of Middleburg; and two brothers, Robert Underhill Jr., of Marshalls Creek, and Thomas Underhill, of Hackettstown, N.J.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday in St. Virgil's Church, Morris Plains, N.J.

Burial will be in Holy Rood Cemetery, Morris Township, N.J.

Arrangements are by the Hummel Funeral Home, 574 Hill St., Middleburg.
