SUNBURY — Mr. and Mrs. Edward M. Neff celebrated their 50th anniversary recently, with a dinner hosted by their children at The Country Cupboard in Lewisburg.

The couple were married Dec. 27, 1957, at First United Methodist Church in Henderson, N.C.

Mr. Neff is the son of the late Freda and Harold Neff. He served as Sunbury City treasurer for 29 years, retiring in 2000.

Mrs. Neff, the former Dorothy L. Kerstetter, is the daughter of Leotta Showers, of New Columbia, and Harold Kerstetter, of Camp Hill. She has been employed with Penn State Cooperative Extension for the past 14 years.

The couple have three daughters, Tina and her husband Keith "Skeeter" Wolfe of Sunbury, Penny Scholl and her companion Scott Bamford of Northumberland, and Tonya and her husband Erik Dawson of Selinsgrove; one son, Edward "Toby" Jr. and his wife Marjorie Neff of Sunbury; and 12 grandchildren.
