Must be the influence of Valentine's day. There's a huge amount of music coming up over the next few days, so let's get right to it.

Tonight, the Burgess-Mitchell-Seal Trio is at LaFontana, right next to the fountain on Main Street in Bloomsburg from 6-8 p.m. Reservations at 245-0057. Meanwhile, at the Old Forge Brewing Co. on Mill Street in Danville, Kimbo Reichley will entertain with his guitar and great songs from 7-9:30.

On Friday, the King Street Coffeehouse at the Savoy at 221 Front St., Northumberland, is open for dinner at 6, and the music starts at 7. This week, we've got PA Crude Unleaded, a blues trio with Chris Trasatti (harps and vocals), Scott Bachman on guitars and Leo Kennan on the organ. Danville singer-songwriter Van Wagner will be there as well, with Tom and Jina Rosencrans rounding out the evening. This will be a good one, so get here early. $6 cover charge.

Both BJ's restaurants, in Selinsgrove and Danville, have live jazz on Friday. At the Danville bistro, Greg Burgess, Steve Mitchell and Bill Setz perform from 6-9 p.m., while at the Selinsgrove site, the EVE Jazz Trio performs from 6:30-9:30. We heard the EVE guys last week for the first time, and they were excellent.

Saturday CatManStu is at Page After Page bookshop at its new location on Route 45 in Vicksburg at 2 p.m. Also Saturday, Greg Burgess and Beverley Conrad will be at Penn's Tavern, Fisher's Ferry, from 6-9 p.m. Call 286-2007 for reservations. Threadbare is at Ye Olde Meeting Place on Route 405 between Milton and Watsontown starting around 9:30.

Eight-piece dance band Into the Spin is at the Lewisburg Club, 131 Market St., Lewisburg, Saturday from 9-midnight. $10 for three hours of fabulous dance music.

Ricky and Harv of the fondly-remembered EZ Rider Band are at LT Evans on Walnut Street in Danville Saturday from 7-9 p.m.

Valentine's dances include ShamaLama at Nos Trovia, 1000 W. State St., Coal Township, for a dinner and dance. Call 274-2864 for more information about this dinner-dance. In Sunbury, Ann Kerstetter and the All-Star Band of Cronies are at The Packer House, 24 N. Third St. for a "La Dolce Notta" dinner and dance. Call 374-0663 or 975-9253 for reservations.

Wine and chocolate truffle pairings can be experienced at Shade Mountain Winery, Route 104 near Penns Creek, on both Saturday and Sunday from 1-5 p.m., with music on Saturday from 1:30-4:30 by Kimbo Reichley. Finally, at Emma's Food for Life on market Street Selinsgrove, Flora Eister will provide flute music during the dinner hours from 608 on Saturday.

Sunday, the actual Valentine's Day, Cuban Duo Tamboura willbe at Brew N Bytes on Lower Mulberry Street in Danville for a 6 p.m. reservation-only dinner. Call 275-8666. And at Skeeter's BBQ, Frankie and the Flipside plays classic rock from 5-8 p.m.
