SUNBURY -- The Sunbury YMCA Arts Center will hold its second annual staff/student art show beginning Nov. 8 at the Kind Cafe, in Selinsgrove.

Mary Jo Tavares, director of the arts center, said the show celebrates the third anniversary of the center, as well as National Y Arts Week.

From paintings and pottery to jewelry and sculpture, the show will include creations from all ages and abilities.

"It really showcases what were all about which is that we provide a place for everyone to play in the arts and have fun and try their hand at something," Ms. Tavares said. "Instructors on staff are often artists that have gone on to a different career. It's an opportunity for them to get back into creating."

The art show opens Nov. 8 with a reception from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Kind Cafe. The show run through Nov. 25.
