MIDDLEBURG — The Snyder County Commissioners have hired Stahl Sheaffer Engineering to oversee improvements at Faylor Lake in Beaver Springs.

The Selinsgrove company will be paid $13,500 to oversee the entire process as the county expands parking, adds restrooms and other amenities. The 140-acre lake that also features a newly added 18-hole golf disc course and 3.75-mile hiking trail.

The county has received a $60,000 matching grant from the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission and $10,000 from the Giant Company’s Healing the Planet Grant program to cover some of the improvement costs.
