Susquehanna University is one of 38 Pennsylvania colleges and universities to receive grant money to combat sexual assault on campus.
Gov. Tom Wolf announced Thursday that nearly $1 million in grants will be offered through the It’s On Us Initiative established three years ago.
“We must never tolerate sexual assault on our campuses or a culture that allows it,” Wolf said.. “Over the past three years, my administration has worked with students, schools, and communities to build programs to stop sexual assaults. These grants will help schools across the state to make campuses safer, and help stop sexual harassment and assault.”
Nearly $3 million in grants have been awarded through the program since 2016.
