• Collision 2:48 a.m. March 28, Route 642, east of Litterer Road in Valley Township, Montour County. Amy Balascik, 28, of Herndon, was pulling out of a private drive at 165 Jerseytown Road. Scottie Whyne, 34, of Catawissa, was traveling west, and Balascik failed to observe Whyne. The right front end of Whyne's vehicle struck the left front end of Balascik's vehicle. Assisting at the scene was Valley Township and Liberty Township fire departments, Danville Ambulance, and Riverside Towing. Balascik sustained minor injuries, and her vehicle received moderate damage. Whyne's vehicle received minor damage. Both drivers were wearing seat belts.
• Harassment 12:56 p.m. March 27, Warrior Run High School, Lewis Township. A female sent a female juvenile a threatening text message.
• Crash 3:50 a.m. March 28, State Route 522, Beaver Springs. Matthew D. Wade, 21, of West Chester, was under the influence of alcohol when his vehicle left the roadway and crashed into a ditch. The vehicle received damage to its front bumper and wheel area, and was towed from the scene. Wade was arrested for DUI. Charges will be filed.
• Crash 9:10 p.m. March 26, State Route 35, Washington Township, Snyder County. Desierae Kyttle, 22, of Sunbury, was heading north on Route 35 when her vehicle crossed into the southbound lane and struck a vehicle operated by Amanda Brungard, 27, of Freeburg, which rolled and came to rest on the passenger side. Kyttle's car then struck the embankment, spun around and traveled backwards down a dirt driveway. After both vehicles came to final rest, Kyttle fled the scene and was located on March 27. An investigation continues. Brungard received minor injuries, and her passenger, Jonathan Janus, 32, of Selinsgrove, received moderate injuries.
