HUMMELSTOWN — Lower Dauphin scored on a corner with no time left in the second half Saturday to tie Greenwood 2-2 in nonconference field hockey.

TURBOTVILLE — Nick Ritter recorded a natural hat trick in the second half, including the tying and go-ahead goals fewer than two minutes apart, for Selinsgrove in a 4-2 Heartland Athletic Conference crossover win over Warrior Run in boys soccer.

JERSEY SHORE — Kristi Benfield made seven saves to record a clean sheet, and Mifflinburg scored two goals around halftime of a 3-0 Heartland Athletic Conference crossover win over Jersey Shore on Thursday.

SUNBURY — Shikellamy blanked Mifflinburg in the second half but couldn’t capitalize on several opportunities to score an equalizer in the Wildcats’ 2-1 win in Heartland Athletic Conference-Division I field hockey Thursday.

TURBOTVILLE — Sydney Keister scored two goals as Midd-West knocked off Warrior Run, 4-1, to remain undefeated in Heartland Athletic Conference-Division II action on Wednesday.

MIDDLEBURG — Shamokin rallied with three second-half goals as the Indians and Midd-West played to a 3-3 tie on Wednesday in Heartland Athletic Conference-Division II action at Midd-West High School.

SELINSGROVE — As Evan Pickering strode confidently on to breezy Steffen Field late Tuesday afternoon, the Selinsgrove sophomore knew his role was singular in nature.

MIFFLINBURG — With all of the possession and time in the attacking end Selinsgrove had Tuesday, it seemed only a matter of time before goals came in bunches.

SUNBURY — Carlos Sevilla and Cam Cowder scored goals less than 10 minutes apart late in the second half, giving Shikellamy its first win of the season, 3-2 over Williams Valley in nonleague boys soccer match Monday.

CAMP HILL — Alan Daniel scored two goals and assisted on another in Lewisburg’s 5-0 nonleague boys soccer win at previously unbeaten Camp Hill on Saturday.

NORTHUMBERLAND — Emily Garvin scored a pair of second-half goals, and Anna UImer tallied the game-winner with 2:18 to play in Northumberland Christian’s 4-3 win over Meadowbrook Christian in Allegheny Christian Athletic Association girls soccer Friday.

DANVILLE — It was late in the first half Wednesday when one of Midd-West’s many charges at the Danville cage seemed certain to end with Delaney Klingler’s pass slipping across the end line.

MONTGOMERY — Lewisburg swept a pair of doubles matches to defeat Shikellamy, 3-2, at the Montgomery Invitational, but the host Red Raiders downed the Green Dragons, 4-1, on Saturday.

MILL HALL — Led by Jason Floruss’ round of 40, Central Mountain won a golf match Thursday that featured five Heartland Athletic Conference teams.
