COAL TOWNSHIP — Karter Peacock and Tyler Bauder belted grand slams an inning apart, and Jersey Shore scored 10 times in the third inning to end a 16-1 win over Shamokin in Heartland Athletic Conference-Division I baseball Saturday.
Peacock's slam highlighted a six-run second that erased the host Indians' early 1-0 lead. Hayden Kramer doubled to lead off the game for Shamokin (0-11 overall, 0-10 HAC-I), and scored on Hunter Bates' single.
Bauder's slam made it 11-1 in the third for Jersey Shore (4-7, 3-6).
