DANVILLE — A Bloomsburg woman, injured in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday while delivering newspapers, has been discharged from Geisinger, a nursing supervisor reported Thursday morning.

Rose Springer, 52, was discharged Wednesday.

She had been listed in critical condition Tuesday afternoon following a two-vehicle crash at 9:10 a.m. near 679 Elysburg Road.

The other driver — Erin Fitzpatrick, 24, of Elysburg — was discharged from Geisinger.

State police at Stonington said both vehicles were traveling west on Route 54. Springer stopped to make a left turn to a mailbox where she was delivering newspapers, police said.

Fitzpatrick failed to stop and struck the back of the Springer vehicle, police said.
